Banking Technology Awards | Best Use of IT for Lending
Nominated in the "Best Use of IT for Lending" category, ITSCREDIT will compete for the award to be given in the twentieth edition of the Banking Technology Awards along with Banco BPI, another national company, and six other fintechs and financial institutions from the United Kingdom, United States, Indonesia and Kazakhstan.
Organized by BBA - British Banking Association and IFS University College, the Banking Technology Awards aim to reward innovative projects that stand out in the banking or financial services area. The winners of the 2019 edition will be announced this Thursday evening, 5 December, at a ceremony to be held at London Marriott Hotel Grosvenor Square.
For João Lima Pinto, CEO of ITSCREDIT, "this nomination represents a recognition of the value and positioning of ITSCREDIT as a global fintech, and is also an important indicator of the international visibility achieved by our software products designed to monitor all stages of credit lifecycle - from simulation to disbursement".
In addition to ITSCREDIT and Banco BPI from Portugal, Alfa Bank Kazakhstan, Bank Rakyat Indonesia and fintechs Divido, Mambu, Banking Circle and nCino in partnership with Santander UK, are nominated for the "Best Use of IT for Lending" award.
Also within the scope of the Banking Technology Awards, ITSCREDIT also counts on the nomination of Micael Santos to win the "Rising Tech Star" award, an award aimed at distinguishing financial technology professionals who stood out for their dynamism and ability to leave their mark on the sector.
The merits and experience of this Portuguese software engineer in the development of solutions for the financial sector will be tested in a category that includes 9 more candidates, including staff from financial institutions such as J.P. Morgan, Lloyds Banking Group and Morgan Stanley.
It should be remembered that, after last March, Sara Martins, business developer of ITSCREDIT, was distinguished in London as "Rising Star of the Year", in the scope of the Women in Credit Awards, prizes awarded by Credit Strategy, a British magazine specializing in the area of credit and financial services.
